ILYM Quiz ("we," "us," or "our") is operated by Kaspen LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use ILYMQuiz.com, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

    The short version: We collect only what's needed to run the quiz and send your results. We never sell your information. Information you give us during SMS opt-in — including your phone number — will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
  

1. Information we collect

When you use the quiz, we collect:

Names you and your co-players enter
Phone numbers you provide for long-distance play (so we can text quiz links and results)
Quiz responses and survey answers submitted during play
Basic technical data your browser automatically sends (IP address, device type, timestamps) for security and reliability

We do not collect payment information directly — if you purchase a paid report in the future, payments are handled by a third-party processor (Stripe) under their own privacy policy.

2. How we use your information

To run the quiz and deliver your results
To send SMS messages containing your unique quiz link and final results (long-distance mode only)
To improve the product and fix bugs
To respond to support requests you send us

3. SMS messaging and opt-in

When you check the SMS opt-in box and provide a phone number for long-distance play, you consent to receive text messages from ILYM Quiz (operated by Kaspen LLC) containing your unique quiz link and final results.

Message frequency: Varies based on quiz activity. You'll typically receive 1–3 messages per quiz session.
Cost: Message and data rates may apply.
Opt-out: Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe from further SMS.

Information obtained as part of the SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Your phone number is used only to deliver quiz-related messages and is never sold.

4. How we share information

We share your information only with service providers that help us operate the quiz, including:

Twilio — to deliver SMS messages
Supabase — to store quiz sessions and responses
Vercel — to host the website

These providers are bound by their own privacy obligations and may only use your data to provide their services to us. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

5. Data retention

Quiz sessions and responses are retained for up to 90 days to allow players to return and view results, after which they are deleted. You may request earlier deletion by emailing hello@kaspenco.com.

6. Your rights

You can request to access, correct, or delete your data at any time by emailing hello@kaspenco.com. If you're in California, the EU, or another region with specific privacy laws, you may have additional rights under those laws, and we will honor valid requests.

7. Children

ILYM Quiz is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated on the site.
